Hello SHopify peeps
My company socialinked is currently evaluating Shopify for several online stores we plan to build out in India.
While I agree with Tobi and the uselessness of customer accounts in most situations, we do have a few requirements that would require accounts section. Loyalty programs, and order tracking being a few to mention.
I have read that Shopify's position is NO CHANCE to customer accounts, but then I read that may change.
I love the shopify concept and community and I believe in the model! I want to stay!!
but I need to know what is the future for customer accounts on shopify? I can wait but for how long?
ALso is there anyway to get visibility on the product roadmap?

I would not expect to see this anytime soon, but it never hurts to ask. This would be a huge huge undertaking and require massive rewriting of the platform I would think.
