I am tasked with taking an already existing Shopify site (https://rollinglivestudios.com/) and presenting it in Wordpress.
Why? Because my client is hell-bent on doing so.
The site's primary purpose is to sell live streaming musical performances and events (virtual products)... though it also sells merch (physical products).
The current Shopify site primarily uses 2 Shopify apps to sell live streams (Locksmith & Arigato) and displays the purchased video on Shopify pages (created with the Gem Pages app) that contain Vimeo embedded videos (live streams).
We are calling the Shopify pages that contain the live streams "Venue Pages." They work well on the Shopify site. Example: https://rollinglivestudios.com/pages/jesse-malin-protected-09-24-2020 (use passcode: sept24jessemalin)
I have found the products (both physical and virtual) are easy to embed and sell on my Wordpress prototype via the Wordpress "WP Shopify" plugin: http://rollinglive.wpengine.com/
WP Shopify is great.
But how to display the Shopify Venue Pages that display video in Wordpress... that is the question.
I tried using an iframe to embed a Venue Page in Wordpress but that is Strictly Forbidden by Shopify.
To recap, I am able to embed and sell Shopify products (both physical and virtual) in Wordpress but how do I allow paying customers to view the live streams they have purchase in Wordpress?
I cannot seem to be able to embed the Shopify Venue pages that contain the said live stream videos into Wordpress.
Am I approaching the challenge correctly?
