With less investment this is prototypying if something solves a problem or just distracts the user.

The tradeoff is apps are loosely integrated so more frontend apps will affect performance. Meaning validate if something works then bring in a dev for something deeper.

No problem, please keep in mind use apps that affect the frontend to validate assumptions. As you add more apps that affect the frontend customers WILL experience growing performance problems that only more involved development can address. So remember to uninstall unused apps.

tldr; if app makes funds > fund development of specific needs.
