Help re-code a button on the Ira theme (AJAX) & other design help

At the surface this seems simple.  But I cannot figure it out.  I'm hoping to hire someone to make the change for me.

Issue:  My theme (Ira) comes with a pretty great looking 'cart drawer' feature.  Add an item to your cart, it shows up the drawer and you can either keep shopping or check out.  However, I'm deploying a bundle app for some deals and it WON'T work unless the user goes to the full Shopping Cart page.  The button in the drawer says "check out" and takes you directly to check out (not the full cart page).  There is another link in the drawer that says 'view cart', but no one knows to click on it.  I'd like to change the functionality of the main button to take you to the full cart page... at which time the 3rd party plugin can automatically apply any relevant discounts.

You can see the main button says "check out".  In addition to changing the URL it goes to, I'd also like to change the verbiage to 'View Cart'.

Let me know what you think is fair.  I'm eager to get this going and can paypal payment, and send you a login.
