I've read up on the various threads comparing above against some of the competition (Magento, Volusion, etc), and I think I've narrowed down the ecommerce software to Shopify (although I can be convinced otherwise).
Since I am virtually tech-illiterate, I am looking for someone that is experienced in designing the Shopify (or other) storefront. My goal is to sell a few items that are availble through drop shippers (at least until the product is in high enough demand to justify manufacture/larger inventories).
I would like to expand sales through Amazon, and of course the storefront you help design. SEO capabilities would also be desired.
Compensation can be flat fee, hourly, some equity in the new venture, or other.
Please send me referrals/examples of sites youve designed.
