Sidebar functionality

I am looking to have different sidebars for different collections/pages — I also need the option to disable the sidebar on collection pages. I am using the Ella shopify theme. Currently, when I update my sidebar for "Wedding Reception Signs", it also updates my side bar on "Wedding Ceremony Signs" and every other page.
