[EDIT] Just been informed that Shopify Timber is no longer supported. Slate is apparently what we should be working with. [/EDIT]
I am in need of a developer familiar with the Shopify Timber framework to build a custom website. We have already instructed a local brand & design agency to rebrand our business, and they will be completing a wireframe/design for the site and will be providing style guidelines and assets. The first presentation from them is this Thursday. We just need someone to take the design and develop it into a theme (possibly with a few tweaks for UX). We are looking for people with the following experience:
We would expect anyone that wants to tender for the work to provide examples of experience and references. The timeline is somewhat relaxed. We want the work to be complete by the end of October, ready for testing during November and December. We are on a relatively tight budget (between £1500-£2500). We would prefer to work with a UK based developer, but open to working with anyone outside the UK as well.

Glad to see you're doing a redesign. You can still use Timber for your store, regardless of it being deprecated. It's just deprecated from development point of view, the theme is still SEO optimized. Then again, Slate is also SEO optimized, so if you're starting from scratch, you should go with Slate. I also built my own Shopify theme development scaffold that I use on my projects: https://github.com/vfonic/shopify-scaffold. This project comes with preinstalled tools that help building mobile-first themes and also provides tools for adding support for older browsers.
The project that you have, a redesign, is exactly what I do. Here's an example of one of the shops I set up recently: https://www.prodigidellaterra.it
I don't think you should wait until November / December. I can make the new theme for you in a month. Why not have it earlier? :)
Send me an email and we can talk about the budget and all the other details. I can also provide you with more references if you want.
Have a great day,
