I have an Australian liquor licence and specialise in wines from the regions south of Sydney, we have a physical shop and although we have a shopify website have never made a sale. Our current focus has been using shopify as a POS and inventory. I am a commercial photographer and writer so can create good content but need a specialist in wine websites to create a whole new sales platform for us.

It's one thing to look for a designer, but needing one that has not just done an alcohol site design but specializes in them AND works on shopify is narrowing your options. 

Generally you want to find a platform agnostic designer have them do the art|branding get the art turned into basic html,css,&javascript code (aka slicing) THEN have any shopify designer turn the basic html-theme into a shopify-template-theme with the needed features.
