Klaviyo welcome flow

hi,

I have a question about Klaviyo. I want to welcome my new subscribers to an different email than the default from shopify. To do so I was thinking to open a flow on Klaviyo. The problem is, will the customers receive 2 emails, one from Shopify and one from Klaviyo? How could I avoid that?

Hi

You cannot switch off a lot of the notification emails from Shopify so they would still receive them. In Klaviyo you could style a welcome email as it would be secondary from your order emails and you could even set a delay so they don't arrive the same time. I did read somewhere that Shopify support can switch off some notifications when you are using an app that already does it but not sure if they still do that.

Klaviyo automatically sync with Shopify immediately you integrate the app to your store making it easy to send email flows to your subscribers.Therefore,one email is sent to your subscribers.

Hello Mr Daniel,

Actually your request one of it's kind, but really when setting up a klaviyo flow you can set a delay on klaviyo that will be a lag on your shopify welcome message, so the time difference will be use as a message platform difference..
