Unable to type any numbers into POS - iPad

Since the recent POS app update, we're no longer able to type any numbers into the POS app which is a major problem as a bunch of our products have numbers as or in their titles and we're struggling to search for them as a result.

We have no problems typing numbers outside of the POS app and this problem only started with the recent update.

Hardware: iPad version 11.0.1 (15A402)

Any ideas or solutions?
