Adding Product Barcodes with Barcode Scanner

Just setting up my POS and moving my 3500+ products slowly using csv. I assumed when I was going to be adding new products in the future that I'd be able to easily enter barcodes using my new 2 line scanner, but it seems that is not possible. Any ideas?

Patrick, a Shopify Guru here :). 

You are correct, at the moment the scanner can’t add new products to your store, it’s made to quickly add products to your cart on the POS.

The best way to add a lot of products quickly is still the CSV, I know it can be troublesome at times but if you ever run into issues with it feel free to contact us at support@shopify.com and we can help you through it :).

Thanks for your answer. I'll use the CSV for now and be praying for the ability to use the scanner to input and do inventory in the future!
