Hi Guys! Need some help over here!
When I export my inventory .cvs document, the number in the `Barcode (ISBN, UPC, GTIN, etc.)` field doesn't appears.. In this field, I need to put an Internal number (IPC code) to recognize my products in addition to the SKU codes.
I need to import my inventory document WITH this barcode number. someone knows how to do ?
Thank you for your help !
The barcode is stored within product and you can export it using the product csv: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/import-export/using-csv
The inventory csv import/export doesn't include barcode field: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/inventory/inventory-csv
If the end goal is to be able to view the barcode with inventory on your exported files then you may need to run an excel macro to merge the 2. Other option is to create a custom report that combines the data you need.
Keanna here from the Better Reports support team.
I would recommend our app Better Reports for this. We can create a custom inventory report that includes all of the specific product and inventory details you require, including product name, variant name, barcode, inventory quantity etc. All of our reports can be exported directly as csv, pdf, or Excel.
You can also schedule reports to be sent automatically to your email or Google Drive at a regular cadence (say weekly/monthly/quarterly). This way you will have an offline record of historical inventory!
I encourage you to install Better Reports and start your free 14-day trial and I'll be happy to set this up for you.
In addition to building custom reports to meet your specific needs, you'll also get access to 60+ built-in reports covering common use case scenarios for merchants.
Let me know how you go and feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
