Lost USB printer connection after NOV 1st update

Has anyone else lost their ability to print via a TSP100usb printer after the nov1 update?  We have used this printer for the past 2 years with no issues. It is also supported on the Shopify site. The printer showed that it was connected but would not print.  I reinstalled the app and now I can not re-add the printer at all. I have worked with Shopify support for the past few hours, but they can not figure it out either. They want me to talk to star support.  

The printer is discoverable on other devices such as our Macs.
