Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
I've had a Shopify ecommerce site for a few years now, but we would like to migrate our current brick and mortar POS system (Retail Pro) to Shopify as well.
Is there anyway to scan in our current Retail Pro barcodes with the Shopify scanner instead of manually typing them in on the backend? (I was hoping on the backend in the bulk editor, under barcodes I could click on it, scan the barcode, and the number would pop up, but it's not.) This would save us a ton of time.
Thanks!

Hi @connies1954,
What barcode scanner are you using at the moment?
A scanner that acts as a keyboard should work perfectly for your use case.
We use a cheap USB-connected scanner. Just open up the product, select the barcode input, scan your barcode and it saves straightaway.
You might also be interested in our app EasyScan that is great for managing your inventory and fulfilling orders with a barcode scanner.
Let me know if I can help further.
Thanks,
Charlie
