New POS issues??

Is anyone having trouble getting the new POS to work? We tried it, changed back to the "classic", then after we have worked we will have no choice to use it in the future we decided to get used to it and use it again. Wouldn't load, deleted the app, installed again, now has been 24 hours loading the collections? Going into our second day trading on our phone. Internet connection working well, iPad up to date, updated the app to try and make it work. Any suggestions??

I’m having the same exact problem with zero support so far. For us it is happening on both ipad and phone apps.

Exactly the same problem for us too. The POS asked to update than stopped working. Tried to reload and it gets stuck at importing than shows a sign with something went wrong during importing

Have restored the iPad, and is working fine again finally.

By restored, do you mean totally reset?

Yes, I reset it completely. We only use it for the POS so any important information on it is in the Shopify admin app so wasn’t concerned about losing data, if you use it for more than that it would be an issue.

A new update came out today that solves this problem. Honestly the customer service/support for the app has been terrible so far but at least it’s functioning now.

The new POS just sucks.  There is no way around it other than leaving shopify.  The classic was a great system, but they couldn't figure out a way to charge you $90 extra a month for it so they created some crappy new system and took away all the functionality of the classic.
