Problem in ShopifyPOS after accepting payment with giftcard and cash

I am having problems when I accept payment with giftcard and cash in Shopify POS (This happens for example when the giftcard doesnt cover the full purchase price). When I sell on the Shopify Pos and I use both a giftcard and cash the cash is registered double so the register is never correct at the end of the day. I mentioned this twice to the Shopify live chat almost one month ago but no help from Shopify so far. Anyone else dealing with this problem?

Hi Miriam!

This sounds very similar to an issue we've had on a specific older version of our POS app. If you were to update your app to the latest version available in the App Store, the issue itself should no longer be present and a task should run to validate and correct any bad data upon installation.
