Products scanning twice on POS

Hi there,

For the last few days, we’ve had an issue with barcode scanning.

When we scan a product using our 1D Socket barcode scanners, the quantity is set at 2 instead of 1.

It’s been intermittent, but currently is happening with every product at one of our locations, and our second location everything is working fine.

Closing the app / restarting iPad and scanner is making no difference.

Just us or anyone else suffering same error?

This is happening to us too - they said to unpair the scanner restart everything and repair it and I'm still running into this problem.

This is an accepted solution.

Hey there! There was a recent update on the Shopify POS app yesterday. Updating to version 6.17.0 should resolve this issue.

Hi 

I will action the upgrade and see if this resolves the problem, as we to had been experiencing this issue.

yes, you just have to upload the new version of shopify to your ipad.
annoying that Shopify doesn't give this critical info before it becomes an
issue

I think they were not aware of this until it become an issue. Anyway, they had it fixed on time.
