After a busy week of POS orders, we discovered patchy customer data for shipping addreses in Shopiy.
1. ADDRESSES NOT AUTO-ADDED IN SHOPIFY
We found many, many orders where there was nothing in Shopify but when we edited the address on the order, an address appeared as an option? This created a lot of manual clean-up. Also, while most came in as shipping addreses, some came in as billing addresses?
2. NO ADDRESS AT ALL
We also found a few orders without any addresses (I specifically remember adding an address for one) so wonder if there's a trick to ensuring addresses get added? Or is their a loop-hole that could somehow save a name/email but cuase an address to be discarded on save?
3. FEATURE REQUEST
As an online business who ships eveything (even POS orders) not being able to double-check or edit customer data quickly while the customer is standing there, and especially see/edit/add custome data after the order has been placed, is a show-stopper sorry!
