We have purchased the Shopify POS plan and now are setting up the POS. We have over 1500 products and decided to go with Android Tablet. However, it seems that the Socket barcode scanner does not work with Shopify POS on Android. It works well with iPad but now with Android.
What do we do now? How can we fix this problem.

The Shopify POS system is available for Android for the use of the POS app. The POS hardware is still not compatible with Android devices only iOS. Shopify has a helpful guide going through all of this in more detail which you can see by clicking here. If it's all possible to return the Android tablet or even look into exchanging it for an iPad. I completely understand how that is not ideal, but using an iPad or iOS device is the only way forward for POS hardware.
