Using a Different Printer with Shopify POS Sytem

I am trying to see if Star Micronics TSP143IIIU printer work with a new Shopify Retail POS system?  I am thinking about switching our store to Shopify POS but I just bought a new printer and don't want to replace if I don't have to.

I would also be interested if POS printer Star Micronics TSP143IIIU works with Shopify POS.

This printer is quite new and it is not on the list of supported printers. However, it is in the TSP100 family and the recommended Online Shop in Europe has it in the category of Shopify products.
