Abandoned Cart Custom Message

Hey @madsforsberg,

 

So I'm trying to edit my abandoned cart email but to do so I need the code or URL or whatever I'm suppose to use to be able to create an abandoned cart email that match my brand

So according to this page: https://help.shopify.com/en/api/reference/orders/abandoned-checkouts

I'm suppose to use {{ abandoned_cart_url }} to do so
Am I right about this?

 

I tried this at least but then Shopify gave me this message:

I don't know what I'm supposed to do about this.

But I'm also not sure if the {{ abandoned_cart_url }} part is even what I'm supposed to do

 

What I'd like to do is edit the abandoned cart email to match my brand and I'm using Klaviyo to do so. I want to insert a button that take people to their specific abandoned cart, but as mentioned, I need the code/url/? to put in the button that take people there.

Welcome to the Shopify Community!

 

I remember helping @madsforsberg with this – and I've received your private message.

 

The way to fix this is to find this line of code in your template:

<body>

Now we're going to add some code. Your final code should look like this:

<body>
<!-- {{ custom_message }} -->

This should get rid of the error message without altering your template visually.

This took me off the error message. But another is displayed :" Liquid syntax error: Unknown tag 'load' "
