Adding options to order confirmation email

Each item in my store has two prices (the retail price, and "free" for pandemic-affected buyers); the product must be picked up curbside at my brick and mortar store and customers have the option of two pickup days.

 

My question: how do I add the pickup day that the customer selected to the order confirmation email that goes to the customer? Right now it only tells them the price they paid.

You need to follow the steps given here to edit the order confirmation email template for showing line item property (pickup date).
