Adding plain text in footer Brooklyn theme

I need to add the Company's name and registration number in the footer. 

How can I do that? Thanks

I am not an expert, but I was looking for the same issue, and managed to figure out something which works for me:

Go in edit code/sections/footer.liquid

Then in line 257 replace the existing by this one (replace "YOUR TEXT" by what you wanna put, your company name and registration)

<p class="site-footer__copyright-content">&copy; {{ 'now' | date: '%Y' }}, {{ shop.name | link_to: routes.root_url }}<br> <br> {{ "YOUR TEXT " }}</p>

Then save it.

Is there a way to split the text within the double quotes so that each section has it's own line? For example....

Business Address: ddfgfg@dgf
Phone number: 6576857537
Registration Number: 455565

I've played around with a few things and cannot get anything to work.
