So, I’m running my third Shopify shop and so far, it’s been going pretty well this time.
I think it’s partly because of new additions and restructures to the shop and partly because of better advertisement.
The part that’s getting on my nerves is maintaining all customer data.
I’m using a Redis database, just like they taught me in school. But the maintenance is just killing me. Is there any way to automate these processes?
Congratulations on your third shop now. That’s quite a number of shops to have. I’m really surprised that the most work goes into your database hahaha
Also, it’s quite astounding that you were taught Redis databases in school. I think most of us just got to the MySQL basics.
Back to your problem it really is a tedious process to do all that maintenance. It can be made easier though, because if you want to, you can use services that let you automate everything.
It would be like a little bit of work once and then no work at all for you. If you’re interested, you can check it out here: https://aiven.io/redis
