Hello

You mean admin dashboard?
You can access data via API.

Is there anyway to access it as a public user? E.g. /products.json does not require an admin login.

Without login you can't access other information.
If you are trying to access using API you need access token.

Hi @reseller,

Nick here from Shopify.

I wanted to double-check this for you to be sure and asked our higher-level support team. As @oscprofessional pointed out, I can confirm information like this wouldn't be possible to access publically. You would need login information to be able to see and access anything code related for stores for security and privacy reasons.

All the best, Nick

Ok, thank you. So /products.json is the only public way possible ?

That's correct @reseller.

It's possible by adding .jsonto the end of the product page URL. Something to note is that the inventory levels shouldn’t be accessible though if the store was created after December 2017. You can see this from the help document Shopify has on this here
