We added the product type "online class" and switched our "class" products to this new product type when COVID hit. Now our old sales reports show classes as being online classes. We didn't realize product type was not stored with the original order (like product vendor is).
We have many apps that allow for metafields and automation (hoping not to have to do any custom coding) - any suggestions on the best way to store the line item's product type at the time of sale?
