Boundless Theme -- How do I remove the "Add Image Slide" button/option on Homepage Slideshow

I just want to convert the slideshow into a normal Image Hero. Anyone who can help? Thanks a lot!

This is a bit more of a complex issue. It would require a custom solution based on top of Liquid/CSS/Javascript to implement it, I'm afraid that unfortunately there is no simple copy-paste solution otherwise I'd happily guide you through.

I'm trying to do it on my own. I'm confident in updating liquid codes. If you can just let me know where I can find this (schema? or any file), I can try to remove it on my own. Thanks!
