Hi!

There are too many requests being generated by my store. You can see the attached screenshot. These requests are coming from v.shopify.com and are probably tracking scripts. I only want to know how to remove these requests. You can view the store performance report here: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/moolokai.com/JCcAEtWc

I will be very very grateful if anyone can help. I can also pay if someone can help.

Thanks!

Hi, i don't think you can deactivate shopify's internal tracking. Also it shouldn't impact performance since it its not blocking anything. What you could try to do is use dns-prefetch for v.shopify.com.

Hi!

Thanks for your reply. Can you guide a little more. I mean which line of code should be dns-prefetch?

You shouldn't worry too much about the shopify internal tracking.

The dns-prefetch would be just an idea to maybe get a little performance boost - you can read up more on this here:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Performance/dns-prefetch

Basicly in "/layout/theme.liquid" you can add a line like:

<link rel="dns-prefetch" href="//v.shopify.com">

Its just very minimal optimization but it does improve performance a bit.
