Hi,

I need to customise "Contact Cuctomer" email template and include images (with href reference).

Here what I have done but does not work:

    1. I have loaded the image in Shopify > Settings > File.

    2. I have copied the related http address: "https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0076/5876/6433/files/icon-tripadvisor.png?3148"

    3. I went to the "Contact customer" template, and in the core of the template I have added:

<img src=“https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0076/5876/6433/files/icon-tripadvisor.png?3148”/>. The inage does not show up.

Interestingly, in the current template, the logo of my company is displayed in the header. The code that is predefined by Shopify: <img src="{{shop.email_logo_url}}" alt="{{ shop.name }}" width="{{ shop.email_logo_width }}">. This is working.

However if I replace {{shop.email_logo_url}} by the http value that point to the image: "https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0076/5876/6433/email_settings/Vaniye_Logo_Main_Website_3585e4c4-79..." then it does not work.

I am sure that the hattp value is correct because I have displayed the value in the email as well using {{shop.email_logo_url}}

I am quite lost how to solve the issue.

Many thanks for the help.

When you save email template then it automatically change some symbols so, just remove " (double quotes) from start and end of image src and add it again using your keyboard.

I did same thing on my demo store and get the same issue but, I tried solution as I describe above and it's work.

If you look closely at what you added you've got invalid quotes in place.
eg: yours

<img src=“https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0076/5876/6433/files/icon-tripadvisor.png?3148”/>.

vs

<img src="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0076/5876/6433/files/icon-tripadvisor.png?3148"/>.

Notice the difference? You don't want to use smart quotes in HTML as they won't be valid.

Many thanks. All good. It would not have figured out the issue by myself.
