Changing product description font - Brooklyn theme

Hi, how do I change the font style of product description alone? I found a similar query: https://community.shopify.com/c/Shopify-Design/How-Can-I-change-the-font-of-product-description/td-p... but the link in the solution offered is broken.

Use the font family property to change it here:

.product-single__description.rte {
    font-family: /*EnterFontHere*/;
}

There's an error after adding it to Theme scss liquid in assets:

It looks like there is an error in your theme.

Try assets/theme scss liquid in the template editor to fix the error below:

Invalid CSS after "...century gothic/": expected expression (e.g. 1px, bold), was ";" at 4816

Hey, managed to fix it by trial and error with the /* Sorry everything is new to me with coding. 
However, even after I successfully fixed the error, the font still won't change.
