Delivery method is not translated

Hello! We have a bilingual store (English and French). We've added and translated a Delivery method. We have Shopify plus plan available and custom checkout. I can see correct translation within {{content_for_layout}} on Shipping Step - Shipping methods block. But when I'm accessing from French version and try to output {{ checkout.shipping_method.title }} I get an English text instead of French one. Could you, please, advise?
