Hi!

I just created a discount code following the video Shopify help center provided but when my customers insert the code link it doesn't work...does anyone know what is the mistake and how to fix it?

Can you please share a screenshot of how your discount code is set up? 

Once you provide more context it'll be easier to understand where the issue lies.

Are you entering the discount code "Happy10" within the Shopify Checkout or something else?

Our business is a guest house, so we had to add a calendar through Shogun within our website.
People book using that calendar which has a promote code link to click as you can see in the screenshot

Thanks for the context! Based on the screenshot, it appears that perhaps the full URL of the discount was entered. Ensure you are simply entering "Happy10". 

If this is not the case and you've entered the code correctly, then I would highly recommend looping in Shoguns support directly to look into this as your discount code is active and set up correctly.

Ok, Thanks! I'll contact them and see.

I tried entering the URL and also just "Happy10". Frome google, mozilla, explore....my celphone...many different way.

HI,

I have the same issue, I've set up discount with the code, when I did check out, it said the  code isn't valid for this item but when I set up discount without a code it works with  10 %

does it mean the discount will only work without code? because I'd like to offer the code to whoever subscribe to my newsletter

Hi, @sante 

Based on the error message you are receiving it seems as though there many be an issue with how you set your discount code up. 

If you want the discount to apply to all items, then you will need to ensure you do not have it set up for specific collections or products. 

Here is our guide on discounts for your reference. 

If this does not help, please send a screenshot of how you have the code set up and I can provide further insight.
