Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels
Hi
I'm getting the following error showing against all my products in the Google search console.
Either "offers", "review", or "aggregateRating" should be specified.
Anyone seen this before / know how to resolve?
Damian
@ureb
Then what next?
This has been a continuing problem for me too and it's really effecting my search and my products. I understand Shopify is on round 4 of trying to fix their code.
Anyone have details or advice?
@TW2020
Please share your store URL and just let me know which review app you have used.
Hi,
I think i have same issues that all. Have you an idea for combine original product structured data with review structured data generated by the app ?
My webshop page with review is https://www.letempleducassetete.fr/collections/puzzle-3d/products/bateau.
My review app is Shopify Product Review.
Thank in adavance.
@MatthieuF44
Of course, I can merge all the data into one because I am a Shopify Partner & Expert. So please let me know on my email.
@MatthieuF44
Sorry, but it depends on the theme and which type of google rich snippet code used.
Hi, Akshay thank you very much for your help, my products now display the reviews in SERP!

Akshay is here. Can you please email me at akshayvaghasiya84@gmail.com or akshayvaghasiya@lavitastic.com ? I need to discuss with you because I want to clear a few things to fix the issue.
I hope you can understand.
If this is such a problem with Shopify built stores why isn't the base code for creation updated to include this criteria? None of my products are clearing as valid due to the warnings. I am sure that the url warning should be an easy fix for them. Is there an infinite setting for the priceValidUntil? But reviews, ratings, skus, and global identifiers aren't always applicable. So those attributes should be included as false in the base code if they are not entered into the product as to avoid the warnings. I'm not trying to be difficult but I don't understand why this isn't an automatic thing in the creation code. I have over 2,000 products at the moment and more to come; so going into each one of them is going to be a giant absorption of time if these warnings are going to be fixed.
Hi,
I have same issue
can any one hepl me to fix this issue.
@Akhilkotha96
Well, I have checked a few product links from your store and I found there are 4 warning displays. Among them, The rating issue will be not fixed because you have not used any product review app on your site. However, If you installed the app then I can display a review of that app in Google or If you don't want to add a review app then I can display static review into that code.

Error is seeing in deal of the day page.please find the attached document.please tell fix for this
@Akhilkotha96
Well, the same issue shows on the deal page because you have added product there and it is throwing that error. https://prnt.sc/sb2wm5
I have already told you a suggestion for fixing this issue.
I dont understand what you suggested to fix this issue.can you please explain me clearly
I have a related problem but cannot find the cause.
Shopify Product Reviews is installed on my Impulse Theme from Archetype.
So on my product pages, the aggregaterating displays a "ratingValue" of 0 and a "reviewCount" of 0
"https://vain.store/products/paris",
"aggregateRating": {
"@type": "AggregateRating",
"ratingValue": "0",
"reviewCount": "0"
Triggering 2 errors in my google search console.
I've ran a structured testing tool but have no clue why this is caused. Can someone support me with this issue?
When you have no reviews, the aggregatedRatings needs to be removed as a value of zero is not allowed.
If you like a complete correct code consider: easy to install structured data
Make sure to remove any old structured data to avoid conflict.
Hi,
I still didnt fix issue.I dont unbdertstand what you have said to fix the issue.can you please tell how to avoid this error
Please remember that the search console is a historical reference. If you have correctly installed the code and removed all old structured data. You will see the number of issues drop. This can take up to 30 days.
If you need help resolving the issue, consider contacting your theme developer, a Shopify partner, or you can also contact me for help.
@Akhilkotha96
As, I have already told you those errors and warning displaying because of the below reason.
Well, I have checked a few product links from your store and I found there are 4 warning displays. Moreover, the same issue shows on the deal page because you have added product there and theme is loading the same product code that is included in the product page so it is throwing that error. https://prnt.sc/sb2wm5
Now if you want to fix the error then let me know here or email or skype.

My mail id is akhil.kotha@c2stechs.com
@Akhilkotha96
Thank you for providing detail now check your email.
Hi,
I have noticed you have helped some users with this issue. I went through different answers and guides, however still very lost.
Google Search Console is giving me lots of warnings:
Missing field "priceValidUntil"
No global identifier provided (e.g., gtin, mpn, isbn)
Missing field "aggregateRating"
Are you able to help me?
Thank you so much!
Fixed my problem with a workaround replacing the original aggregaterating by the following:
"aggregateRating": {
"@type": "AggregateRating",
"ratingValue": {{ product.metafields.spr.reviews | split: '"ratingValue": "' | last | split: '"' | first | plus: 0 }},
"ratingCount": {{ product.metafields.spr.reviews | split: '"reviewCount": "' | last | split: '"' | first | plus: 0 }}
},
Hi Sorry I can seem to post in here without replying to someones post.
I am having an issue as well.
This is what google console is saying:
I have read through this thread as much as I can but I just dont think I am confident enough to go back and change codes.
My question is - does it really matter? As long as these issues arent in the red what difference is it making to my store? What impact do these yellow warnings have?
Any help would be great!
Thanks
Warnings do not provide a negative impact as you already mentioned. Resolving warnings however may benefit you in respect with ranking. The more accurate data you provide the more Google learns and the better your performance.
Thank you for your reply.
Some of these I dont know where on Shopify I can provide that information or does it involve going into search console products for every single item?
Sorry for all the questions!
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

You can use Google's structured data testing tool to find what errors there are by adding the product landing page URL here: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/
You can also install the completed code from my tutorial: https://feedarmy.com/kb/shopify-microdata-for-google-shopping/
Make sure to first clean up the old coding if you plan on installing my code.
I ran the tool as you suggested. There are LOTS of errors on products. Over 100.
The thing I don't understand is where to input these details. It says description is missing but you can see the description field above is filled in.
I dont understand where these fields on Shopify are that need to be filled in?
I am a complete beginner at this sort of thing!
Thank you for the info re your code but I dont think I am confident enough to do that. Thank you though
I appreciate it
@AerialAttireUK
Can you send me your store URL? So, I can check the issue from my side.
Also if you have knowledge about coding then you can resolve it from your end. Otherwise, you need an expert or partner like me to fix the issue.
Dear Akshay_V,
I saw your differents comments on this thread and I think you're the one who can help me .
I think I've the same issue that the others.
Got a lot of product (+- 400) in my shop, here is my cover:
And here are my products, where I'm losing a lot everyday because the errors ? Or I don't know..
Could you please let me know if you can do something, by PM or here.. It will be very gratefull..
My shop: https://porte-ma-cle.com/
Thanks,
@JeanMarc0594
Thank you for sharing your concern with me and I hope you are safe.
Well I have checked your site and I found that you have added product review app recently so product has no customer review. You can do one thing if you have past order detail then send custom one email regarding review from review app or email marketing and ask them to add review. Without customer review aggregate rating issue fix is not possible.
While other errors priceuntill, global identifier and review I need access of your store to fix errors from theme and it is chargeable. So let me know if you want to fix it then I will send you store admin collaborator access request and for faster response you get contact me on email or skype on below contact details.
@JeanMarc0594
Check skype to continue further discussion.
If you are not confident installing the code, then I do not see how you will be able to resolve it using your current code. I recommend that you hire a specialist that can help you. Such as the Shopify theme developer, your current developer, or if you like you contact me and I can offer you my services.
Thank you.

I wasn't sure if it was something simple I was missing through lack of knowledge.
But thank you for clarifying. It is definitely something I would need to hire someone for.
Thanks for your help
This worked for me. It fixed the aggregateRating warning
<div itemprop="aggregateRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/AggregateRating">
<span itemprop="ratingValue">{{ product.metafields.spr.reviews | split: '"ratingValue": "' | last | split: '"' | first | plus: 0 }}</span>
stars – <span itemprop="reviewCount"> {{ product.metafields.spr.reviews | split: '"reviewCount": "' | last | split: '"' | first | plus: 0 }}</span> reviews
</div>
Hi,
I am getting the same warning on everyone of my products in this category.
Recommendations?
I am having this same error on Search Console. Can you take a look and advise how to fix? I tried adding "offers" to the product template and tried to validate the fix but Google Search Console says the errors still exist... Thank you for your help!
URL: www.my20eld.com
specific product URLs:
hey @krakoczy Search Console can take days even weeks to re-crawl and update. You can use Google's Structured Data testing tool to check your pages in realtime, for ex: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fmy20eld.com%2Fproducts...
You can see the offers and most of the fields are in place. You might want to address the errors reported by this tool and assume Search Console is going to pick them up and update, eventually.
I've received the error from Google and I'm not sure how to fix. Here are the URL's that were noted. I contacted Shopify and they said to ask our developer to fix but we are no longer working with them.
