Error Message trying to connect to Facebook store

Can anyone help? 

I've just set up the Facebook and Instagram store for my website and I have a business manager set up and associated with the account and Shopify store. I'm also the page admin. 

The connection seems to work okay but after I've pressed 'done' from this screen grab below, I get the error message 

"There was a problem processing this action, please reset this page" and the account does not connect. 

I've tried deleting and reinstalling the Facebook sales channel but still getting the same error message.

Replying because I am having a similar issue. I see the same success confirmation but my error message says "Please grant Facebook all permissions and try again". The only permissions not granted are for Instagram, because we do not have an Instagram account. 

Meanwhile, the Shopify legacy has been disconnected from my Facebook Shop and I cannot use the new channel. Please advise.

Yes, I have two other stores that have been disconnected and I can't connect the new one to either of them. 

So frustrating and chat wait time is 40 mins, too busy this time of year to deal with these technical glitches, I've spent so much time on it!

Has anyone figured out why this issue is happening. As I also have the same thing happen to my Shopify store.....
