I have several clients looking to capture a customer's historical order count on the confirmation page to be able to pass into the dataLayer and into GA and other media platforms. We would like to be able to see if that email is recognized as a previous customer without the user having to log-in. Other CRMs have the capability to send back order_count via an API, but I have not come across this metric in the available Shopify APIs yet. Does anyone know if this is possible? Perhaps a version of the storefront API?
