My team and I have a store on shopify that we want to connect to Dynamics 365 for order management, inventory management, customer marketing, warehouse assignment, order routing, and much more down the road.
Is there any way, once an customer or order is created, to make a post request to an Azure service bus which will then in real time insert it into Dynamics.
Changes in dynamics (such as delivery completed marking order complete) could be accomplished by calling back to Shopify.
I was thinking about writing an Timer Azure function which would run every 5 min to pull new orders/customers over to dynamics, but that isn't real time.
Ideally, we want real-time data flow between the two systems.
This is definitely possible, I would like some advice as to best practices for this scenario. I have 0 experience with Shopify.
