How to add collection filters code in the right places

I'm trying to get a filter option on the collection pages. How do I get these codes (from github) into the right places?

Code: www.github.com/nitin00709/Shopify-collection-filters-with-working-example

  • I already put the .js files in the assets files

- jQuery.filters.js

- settings_schema.js

  • Added the filters-code.liquid into the snippet files
  • And added the style.css code under the theme.scss.liquid

Is this just not working or what am I doing wrong here?

Many Thanks! Klair

settings_schema.js

that doesn't seem to be intended as a standalone asset file, rather something you combine into an existing sections schema.

Like the collection templates where you want the filter to be used.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for reacting! Aha, I got finally the part of the settings_schema.js. It's now in the collections template.

So I see it now in the customizer, but nothing else is happening.. ( I used Color_Red in a product tag as a test) Is there an other part of the codes that I'm doing wrong?

There are too many possible problems to even guess at with the limited info.

Just go through the steps again, hire someone to fix it, or contact the original developer
