How to have opening hours on my website ?

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on myshopify to set up a meal delivery service in my area.

For now we would like it to only be open on specific days and hours. 

Could you please let me know how I can make sure no sells are made outside of the hours we're open for business?

Hello!

Such feature could be custom coded in your theme using something like momentjs. 

Considering you affirmed you're a newcomer in this I'm presuming you're also new to coding. If so, you'd need a .liquid/Javascript developer to get that done for you since unfortunately it's not that simple.

BookThatApp allows you to specify your opening hours:

You can also set up blackout periods for times that you temporarily want to block out, such as holidays etc.

Hi,

I developed an app where you can set your store hours and show a custom message for your customers when the app is closed. It also disables your add to cart and checkout buttons. Check it out: https://apps.shopify.com/were-open

The app also has a feature called "smart message" that adds the next opening hours to your custom message. Please contact me if you want me to add a specific feature.
