Hi fremfi, thanks for posting. Just a couple of questions so I can try to help out:

  1. Which stage of the tutorial were you at when your app stopped working?
  2. What graphql code did you update in the first place?
  3. Did you add a specific request to the "metafields.json" API endpoint? (As far as I know, metafields aren't part of the node/react tutorial)

Another good way to diagnose the problem might be to check out the final version of the app on Github — you can compare your code to the working app code and see where there might be an error.

The error stopped persisting, now i mostly get;

FetchError: request to https://testappreactnode.myshopify.com/admin/oauth/access_token failed, reason: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND testappreactnode.myshopify.com
at ClientRequest.<anonymous> (/Users/frederickmfinanga/Documents/shopify-apps/test-app/node_modules/isomorphic-fetch/node_modules/node-fetch/index.js:133:11)
at ClientRequest.emit (events.js:210:5)
at TLSSocket.socketErrorListener (_http_client.js:406:9)
at TLSSocket.emit (events.js:210:5)
at emitErrorNT (internal/streams/destroy.js:92:8)
at emitErrorAndCloseNT (internal/streams/destroy.js:60:3)
at processTicksAndRejections (internal/process/task_queues.js:80:21)

I remember earlier in the tutorial the app was having troubles setting the shopOrigin cookie, and i had to retry so many times, until it randomly worked, but i am not sure if that is the issue here again.
