Importing Customers as Subscribed - Not Working

Hello All,

I've recently imported a list of customers from a Mailchimp export. The CSV file I imported has a column called "Accepts Marketing" and all columns are populated with "Yes". My understanding is that this should automatically tag them as Subscribed in Shopify, but that isn't happening. I'm not sure how to get them subscribed again as they already accepted/requested subscriptions previously.

I found an article online about using Import Store, but that app doesn't seem to be around anymore.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is an accepted solution.

Try changing values in the "Accepts Marketing" column to "yes" (starting with lowercase "y"), and reimport the file. It should help.

I have the same problem. I'm getting a message that the header is not correct.

Tried the solution mentioned of changing to a lower case y and still not arriving as subscribed - doesn't matter if I import 1 or 1000 - all other fields working - anyone help?

Hi

Could you send a snip of the column in your csv file. I am able to import a csv with columns as shown below without issues

I am still having an issue, even when I put all data in lowercase:

I've tried reuploading it, which hasn't worked.
