Hey - I'm developing a store for a client and wondered how you guys are integrating Instagram since the API has changed.
I'm working from a design so do not want to use an app widget - I just need to loop through x number of recent posts and get image urls and hrefs (no requirement to pull through likes, comments etc!)
Are there any apps out there (preferably free!) that enable this?! or is it a custom build?
Thanks in advance!

This is an accepted solution.
I usually use https://www.instagram.com/openxthinking/?__a=1
NOTE: Sometimes it works for months and it stops for few weeks then it works again...
Another method I use (I didn't had problems with this one) is fetch the user profile and extract the json from the HTML.
But if you need something more reliable I'd would go with an APP. Instafeed has a free plan.
The ?__a=1 query method works a treat! So much data in there!
For anyone else that comes across this post - append "/?__a=1" to the users account (has to be a public account) to retrieve json.
Thanks @OpenThinking! See that there are some reports of failing though at times but definitely a good quick hack!
