Multiple Global Site Tags - UA and AW

Hi There,

I've just linked up my google analytics, merchant centre, google ads and tag assistant - and found that I have two global site tags, one is correct (UA-174920423--1) the other has strange letters before it and I'm not sure where this has come from AW-600502126. I've done a google tag assisant recording, just not sure where to go to look at removing this from my Shopify minimal theme store. I think the rest of the tags are okay, just this one? Would love some help/ advice. Thanks in advance , Nikki.

Tag id's starting with UA is Google Analytics

Tag id's starting with AW is Google Ads.

To remove, you are best to revert what you installed. However I don't see the point removing it. As it is part of Shopify tracking, ie cart, page views, add to cart clicks etc...

Thanks for your reply - so in my google tag analysis after I've recorded I don't need to be worried that is saying there are errors with tags in my store? Otherwise from below do you know what the issue is (if any)?

You can remove all what you did, ie revert it. Then manually setup Google Analytics. So that only one tag is installed. When you install multiple systems, apps, tools etc... it does create a bit of an issue.

I'm unsure what a double tag would do, but it is indeed recommended to resolve it.

Revert what you did, and then step by step install it. So that you can see what is causing the issue.
