Prevent Customer from purchasing the same product again.

Hi everyone,

I am selling online classes, so I am looking for a way to prevent the customer from "accidentally" purchasing the same product twice. It is online videos, so there is no point for it to be purchased again.

Is there a way or app to make it so, my website can prevent a customer from adding an item to cart or purchasing a product again - if they have already purchased prior.

I understand that you want to prevent customers from accidentally purchasing the same product twice.

One way to do this is by hiding the "Add To Cart" button if a customer has already purchased the product.

Do your products only have one variant?

You can use this app, which is very affordable. I have been using for a bit and the customer service is excellent. https://magecomp.com/shopify-limit-qty-purchase.html It remembers customers and purchase history. It is pretty easy to set up. It goes by product name. It is really great for digital products.

any body find the solution. ? Is there any way to check the customer order history on a  product page, So that we can show a messages on product  page that you already purchased this product. I think its a very simple way to prevent the user to buy the product accidently. I am selling ebook
