Same problem and it's really frustrating. Lost a lot of time with this and all the support links are just a big giant circle with zero usefulness. Good way to keep customers busy and mitigate labor I guess. I need help please or I'll go buy a domain from somewhere else I guess.Screen Shot 2020-06-12 at 12.50.39 PM.png

One more customer banging my head on the walls trying to sort this thing out.

Correct dial code phone number format, correct address format, it does not even go to payment option so no question of funds being there or not.

HELP!!!!!

If you want to purchase a domain you have to go to a third party provider. Only way to get one as shopify cannot provide you one. There are no solutions to this thread because Shopify doesn't have one. No one has came back here to say problem solved. Again this issue has been  going on since September 2019.

Please I am having the same exact problem. Can you please email me with further info. I already tried all the steps that were recommended. This is an ongoing issue that has never been fixed.

I am here to report that finally, I got it sorted out.

Apparently, if you have a default payment method selected to Paypal or
another 3rd party payment processor, it can get stuck.

After checking the address formats and telephone number formats and whatnot
for so many days and banging my head on the walls and nearly giving up. One
night, I just took a coffee and started rechecking every detail (mainly
because I couldn't get the annoyance out of my head and the couldn't figure
out the reason why I was stumbling on this problem), I replaced the payment
method from Paypal to my credit card (the same one that is used by Paypal
payments by the way), and it worked.

God knows why was that, but, try using this workaround, if that works for
you, you can send me an imaginary coffee.
