Product isn't "viewable" and is causing 404 errors.

I am the new web manager of a shopify store front and I'm currently fixing 404 errors I have multiple products that are sold but we want them to be able to still be seen via the gallery. when I access the product from the back end of the store it shows a "duplicate" and a "preview" option and this is standard amongst most of the products that are causing 404 errors. Has anyone seen anything similar to this and how did you fix it? I'm coming over from a woocommerce background and I have about 1700+ of these to fix so any help would be wonderful as I would rather find and understand the cause of the problem rather than just apply a bandaid to fix it temporarily.

This is what I am seeing, on the products that don't cause 404 errors there is a "View" Option.

Just to confirm, the products are set to active and are available on the online store sales channel?
