ReDirection not working

I am trying to do a site-wide redirect 

/pages
to
/products

It takes the entry, but doesn't work

I've also tried one particular product

/pages/productname
to
/products/productname

Same results

Any ideas? Thanks!

Bump. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should troubleshoot? It's strange that this is the only redirect that doesn't work , all the other's do. Thanks
