Slow Website

My website is very slow and on doing a Google Pagesoeed Insight run, I score 40/100 on mobile which is crazy low. I have purchased the impulse theme and want to stick with it, but have no idea how to speed up my webpage.

On desktop it is much faster 80/100 which is fine, but I don't know how to make mobile faster.... does it need to be done in the theme customisation? I'm really at a loss here.

Any tips would be helpful!

Most active ecommerce sites with 3rd party apps have a low Google PSI score. The scoring system doesn't correlate to actual performance and isn't a good benchmark for these type of sites where your primary goals are revenue and customer engagement.

It's good to get some ideas, but for an ecommerce site with 3rd party apps I recommend optimizing what's possible and make your site faster, but don't worry about an arbitrary score.

Few things you could do.

1. Don't use too many Third-Party Apps

2. Minify your theme.js. Google Javascript Minifier, and replace your theme.js with minified code. Make sure you back up your theme.js

3. Use app like TINY image to compress your images. (Works well for my store)
