Trying to alter background text color in HTML?

I would like to know if anyone knows what HTML command I have to enter to change the background color of a particular word in my product text description?

Hello,

Wrap that specific word with another html tag use inline CSS.
e.g.

<span style="background: #e9e0e0;"> Your text</span>

Thanks for getting back to me! I don't know anything about HTML, so here is a pitiful question:

Suppose I only want to change the background color of the text "{4/F"} to blue, do I just add the HTML code where the arrow points in my 2nd image?
