adding a back button on checkout page

Is possible to add a back button on the checkout page, on the header? The only way to go back from the checkout page is by clicking the logo or using the back button on the browser.

My client need a back button on the checkout page. Any ideas?

Try something like this

However I can't see the checkout.liquid on my templates folder, snippets folder or any template page related to checkout page. How do I add this code line and where? Do I have to create a new checkout.liquid page?

Okay sorry, I have to improve my "reading comprehension". I was thinking of the cart page for some reason.

From what I understand you can only style the checkout page. It is possible to add a script on the thank you page (via Admin>Settings>Checkout), but not checkout page itself.

No pb. The script is only for the thanks page. I a shame how limited is this area

Shopify Plus gives you access to a checkout.liquid. For those that need to control their checkout, there you go.

You can fake a button by adding an ::after psuedo element on the logo.
