how to run shopify in localhost url

i am developing a theme Shopify I want to run in localhost 

i am using theme kit it run with live url

localhost is not supported.

If this were possible, vendors would be able to migrate their site away from Shopify easily, which runs contrary to their business model. 
Continue using themeKit, it's the only way.
